Yes, that's right, Matthew went blueberry picking with Brooke and Blake and had a great time. He turned out to be quite the little worker-bee. While his bucket was relatively small, he did manage to fill the whole thing. He then dumped his bucket into Granna's bucket so he could get more. Here are a few shots of Matthew in action!
Sorry it's been a while since our last update but we've been really busy. We haven't really been busy DOING anything, but we've been really busy. Here are a couple pictures of Matthew from the past month.
SHHHHHHH...I'm working.
If you look deep into those eyes you will see one thing: mischief mischief mischief
A good, hearty laugh cures most ailments. We are all healthy as horses!!!

Now, you may be asking yourself, "what do those things have to do with one another?" The answer is simple. Matthew loves all 3 of them!
Last week, Matthew's Nana came (that's Amanda's mother, for those of you who might not know.) She brought a Molly, and Harold, and Ben and Bill, and Annie, and Clarabel, and Fergus (trains, trains and more trains....and a helicopter) Nope, Matthew's not spoiled at all!
While she was here, she went with Matthew to the petting zoo at his preschool. He loved it. Especially the little "pot-bellied pigs"
Once Nana left, Mommy had to keep Matthew busy so he wouldn't be too sad. And on the ONE nice day we've had in the last three weeks, they went and played with chalk on the sidewalk. Our little apartment building has a little more color...until the next rain washes it away.
And the crowning jewel of the month (no offence, Nana) is Daddy's new Wii!!! This, as you may have guessed puts Amanda at the head of the standings for wife of the year. All she has to do to stay there is play along! Which she is glad to do as long as it's boxing. She is undefeated. (read that, Ben got knocked out by his own wife....5 TIMES!!!) Matthew loves to play too.

Matthew got a baseball and bat from his Uncle Jay and Aunt Jenn. He has NO clue what to do with it, yet.
Matthew then got to go on an Easter egg hunt. He had a good time looking for all of his eggs.
And no holiday for a 2 year old is complete without wallering on the kitchen floor in your best WHITE PANTS!!!!!
For those of you who do not know, "Uncle Frank has a Mini Cooper!!!" Matthew has been talking about it since he found out what a Mini Cooper was about 2 months ago. While he was in Tampa, he finally got to sit in and see Uncle Frank's Mini Cooper.
He loved pushing all the buttons and playing with EVERYTHING. The only thing he could not do was start it. His legs are just too short to reach the clutch! Maybe by the time he's 16!

Matthew got to visit his cousin Micah this weekend. The boys had a wonderful time with each other. Each one following the other around and actually playing TOGETHER, instead of just next to each other. We hope to be able to get the boys together quite a bit so they can get to know each other really well. We'll be going down to Houston again in June to welcome Baby Emmie to the world so they will get to hang out again.

Matthew had a wonderful time in Tampa last week (we'll post the pictures as soon as we get them) but he was glad to have all his toys (cars) back. Even though he did get several new toys (cars) while he was gone, he was ready to see his favorites like Luigi and Guido. Here he is saying hello to them.
Every kid needs a dog. Especially one that looks like Peanut but doesn't bark, eat or need to be let out. And thanks to Matthew's MeMaw, he has one! This is "Crocket" Not "Cricket" as it was orginally named by Matthew's Nana, but "Crocket" cause Matthew just didn't say "Cricket"Monday, March 19, 2007
Matthew spent the day on Saturday with Aunt Jenn and Uncle Jay. They went to the ball park in Arlington where the Rangers play. As they walk in the gift shop Matthew takes Aunt Jenn and Uncle Jay's hands and politely tells them "I LIKE TOYS!" Needless to say Matthew came out of the gift shop with a new truck and a hat. He absolutely loves his hat. He puts it on and says "playball". It's pretty funny.
Since Matthew and I are going to be traveling this week, Ben and I thought about trying head phones on Matthew so he can watch his DVD player on the airplane and in the car on our way to Florida. It will be nice not to have the volume of the dvd player as loud as it can go because you can't hear that well on the airplane. Anyway when we came home from best buy we thought we should explain to Matthew what the head phones do and how they work. Here are a few pictures of Matthew trying out his first set of head phones while watching the Wiggles!
I love my Paw Paw!
Last spring my mom went to the Master's golf tournament. She bought Matthew a shirt like his Paw Paw used to wear, so on Sunday I decided that since the shirt finally fit we should let him wear it. Here he is being a goof ball before church on Sunday.

Yet again a week has passed. And yet again, our kid has gotten cuter (bet you didn't think that was possible!!!) Here are a few snapshots from the week...
Yeah, the clothes are too big, but we really have no choice...he's really, really small!!!
TJ takes a picture, Matthew takes the camera.
A little bit of role reversal here. This time Matthew gets to be the horsey and Daddy gets to be the cowboy. (don't worry, I didn't actually sit on my kid!!!)
